We have an opportunity to be apart of something really special through Edengate & Patrons International’s Shepherds’ Retreat proposal. The people apart of these teams realize a great need of restoring care for those in pastoral roles, ministry teams, and their families, to avoid burnout and potentially leaving the church all together. The beauty of this care is that it’s for the benefit of many, not just those in the UK - the hope is that this can be available to those in Europe and the U.S. This project is currently raising funds to bring it to fruition. The Kinfire Festival is a celebration of all that God has done in this land since the first missionaries set foot here. It’s a festival of stories and songs ablaze with the Good News. This yearly festival is about and for family, and not just those that live in your home… Each who calls on the name of Jesus is our kin. Old and young, black and white, rich or poor - we are kin because of Him. Being encouraged by a weekend full of incredible speakers (John Piper being one!!) of all denominational backgrounds, connecting with other believers across the island and deepening our relationship with God is the heart of Kinfire Festival.
